Imo, Rysheed's going to either Temple, Maryland, Villanova or Kansas.
Personally, I don't believe G'Town is a real factor.

Following recruiting is one of my hobbies and I've heard literally nothing about Rysheed and G'Town.
Now granted, that doesn't mean the Hoyas aren't in the mix....but I sure haven't heard anything.
Just perusing various boards and articles over the last few months, it seems to me that the kid is all about MD or Temple.
At least right now.

www.baltimoresun.com/sports/recruiting-blog/bal-insidemdsports-change-of-plans-for-rysheed-jordan-20120510,0,4548509.story?track=rss Jordan, ranked the No. 19 player in the Class of 2013, emerged several months ago as a top target for Maryland, which is attempting to beat out a field that includes several hometown programs. For any programs not within driving distance, it may be an uphill battle. “It’s still Maryland and Temple at the top, and then you’ve got Villanova. Kansas is in there, too. It’s the same as before, pretty much,” Yard said. “He’s a Philly guy and he’s got a really close relationship with his mother. He’s willing to go a few hours, but probably not too far. But you never know if that could change. Kids are so fickle.” Terps assistant Dalonte Hill first scouted Jordan -- a 6-foot-3 pure point guard who averaged more than 20 points and six assists as a junior -- and has remained in frequent contact. “He likes Maryland a lot. Dalonte and Rysheed have a great relationship. and Rysheed and [Mark] Turgeonare pretty cool, too, but Dalonte has been the point man,” Yard said. “Maryland is in frequent contact. They’re recruiting the [heck] out of the kid.” “I love Maryland and Sheed really likes Maryland. Maryland’s always been a great school,” he said. “I’d love to see some Philly kids at Maryland. If Rysheed goes to Maryland, the floodgates will open up. Philly is really big on that. Look at what happened with Syracuse after Hakim Warrick went there and all of the players [from Philly] who’ve been successful there since then.”

Basically Rysheed is the backup plan in case the Terps don't land the Harrison twins.

Basically Rysheed is the backup plan in case the Terps don't land the Harrison twins. When the Terps don't land the Harrison twins you mean. I agree until now there has been 0 chatter about the Hoyas and Jordan, it was all terps or temple, nd all figured he was a lost cause (either staffs choice or his), but I doubt that they would have published that without any reason at all based on the above reason. Could be interesting. Not saying we end up with him but seems to be back in the conversation at least

1) CBS's info has become the best in the business 2) Rysheed does like Georgetown, Georgetown is a bigger player than people realize 3) I think many including his AAU coach who does all the talking in that article for a Maryland site are trying to steer him away from Georgetown. 4) It will be hard to over come out PG stereo type. 5) Getting Jordan should be a huge priority for us. Hope we put Broadus on him and the full court press. It really only takes one player to change people's impressions and I think Jordan could be that player.

The Harrison twins are going to decide long after Jordan probably will. And we all know they're going to Kentucky. I hope the Terps are holding out for the twins!

Rysheed is looking at committing just before his senior year starts.

Do these people just not realize where Kansas is? Do they think it's Kentucky? How much could our mid-Atlantic recruiting improve if we mail out some real maps of the U.S. to all the high schools between DC and New York?

Kline has been hinting at Jordan being interested in Georgetown a few times over the last few weeks, but it's never corroborated with any quotes from Jordan himself.
You could either take his word for it or look at it as a 17-year-old kid who still has a lot to learn about journalism. I lean to the latter.

Anybody on here live in the Dallas area going to be checking out the "Are you from Here" tourney this weekend? Rysheed will be there along with other top players.
