Why do we think that tweet was in reference to the Hoyas?

No doubt I love Rysheed's game/type of player but I'd also point out that Jaylen Brantley was watching the game and Mr. Brantley is ringleader of a group of friends that includes Nerlens Noel and Wayne Selden. Brantley LOVED his Hoya visit (only negative was his attempt to get back home as weather delayed him in NYC) and had Nerlens ear during his trip/after the trip.
Not saying pass on anyone--just saying if we're going to look for reactions from recruits--don't sleep on Jaylen.

I like Brantley's moxie and will, but he is small. However, if he helps land Noel, so be it.

Small players are fine--small teams are not. If you are going to have a small player--PG--at least have a roster like Hoyas have/will have.
Never have believed in package deals-but the ESPN Insider update mentioned that Brantley is very close/ringleader of Noel/Selden etc...and I will never forget the response Brantley's comments about Hoya visit made--and Nerlens reacted immediately like "It was like that?" Brantley also changed his comment from something that was beyond pro Hoya to more even keeled. Being a night goblin, I just happened to see it and then noticed he changed it following day.
All that said--I'm TEAM RYSHEED JORDAN FROM DAY 1. He's my top PG prospect for '13 for Hoyas and hope to see him end up in Blue and Gray. Philly tough, but also talented and anyone who impresses John Wall to point he said "He reminds me a bit of myself"-I'm more then happy with idea of being a Hoya.

here's what he tweeted last night after the game: sheedjordan Rysheed Jordan: CAN'T WAIT TIL MY TURN CAUSE IM NEXTED UP Interesting Man, I don't know. I just went to his feed, and he was talking about playing Madden with his boys, and he could've just been waiting for his turn to play.

speaking from Tweets, I think Monroe is Hoyas #1 fan. They all love jabbing at Sims and what a monster he's become

Im with RDF on this one. A 6'4" Philly PG is a no brainer. If Nerlen doesn't want to come without his PG, then Ill pass. Have we offered yet? If not, what are we waiting for?

Compared to Andrew Harrison, how good is this kid? what is he better/worse at? a thought of 6'5 guard (and Rysheed is 6'4) in our big line up is very enticing...

bump for rysheed vs. harrison Sorry I didn't respond to the question earlier--didn't see it. ZERO SHOT with Harrison Twins. Talked to them throughout the BB Classic in Twin Cities this Summer and I'd say Kentucky has a HUGE lead for both of them and Andrew Harrison is a more polished player right now then Rysheed Jordan. Twins are very physical for guards--6'4-6'5 and have a nasty streak to them. Take on challenge and get after you on both ends of court. Love their game. By "nasty", they are type of players who find something to motivate them and then kill their opponent. One kid hit a jumper and talked mess to Aaron, and Andrew made sure Aaron got the ball next 2-3 times down court and he proceeded to score on 3pt shots and then stole the ball, took a charge, and blocked the kid in between makes. Andrew runs pick and roll brilliantly and makes great reads and both have great range/mid range games and finish with strength near rim--dunk on people and explode through contact. That being said--Rysheed Jordan is exactly the type of kid I want to see Hoyas get--6'4, speedy, needs to be developed and improve jumpshot (III's Staff have improved every player's jumper/offensive game as it's their #1 strength imo) and he'd bring a dimension they havent' had in decade--speed/playmaker on both ends of court. He's a big PG, but has speed/toughness about him too--just not as strong all around as Andrew Harrison--who plays like an NBA PG already. Hoyas were at Rysheed's game tonight too. ;D for those of us who view him as top PG prospect for them and a NEED.
