sports.espn.go.com/ncb/champweek2005/news/story?id=2008596But they are saying ND is in (pre-L to rutgers). According to this we need Maryland, Indiana, V. Tech, and a couple others to lose. Although I still think we need a W against Uconn. They keep saying the flawed RPI won't play in as much this year so I think a Uconn upset and we are dancing.

Also said we "might" need two wins. Wonder what that means? If many of the other bubble teams lose and we play UConn close could we be in?

Lunardi was on the late Sportscenter last night commenting after highlights of 2 of the 3 BET 'bubble' games, saying:
A.) WVU was in.
B.) ND will enjoy the NIT.
C.) Gtown - no comment offered (that I saw at least).

If ND is in the NIT then we are joining them if we don't win tonight. They would have an extra in conference W then us.

Here's a worse scenario - does ND's loss clear a path for MD to make the tourney, even if they lose to Clemson today?

I think Maryland only has 16 W's which isn't enough. I think 18 is a minimum mark although the ACC gets a bye probably because of the hype.

I think we have to win tonight, but I also think we have a better resume than ND right now. They have no road wins of value, IIRC.
