maybe we should all refrain from jumping down the staff's and each others' throats for waiting or not-waiting for certain reasons. Lets just have faith in III and company, who have been fantastic on the trail lately. Anyways, back to the topic at hand: who of those highly rated recruits do you want in a Hoya uniform in a perfect world? Ding, ding, ding... we don't know what is going on. Remember last year around this time? TTS. Back to the list, scholarships tend to open up around here. With 7 inexperienced sophs and freshmen on the roster next year, we could have more available. That said, I would add Drummond to your list and have that scholarship available for Noel the following year after Drummond's one-and-done. Btw, where's Bolden?

Ohh wow good point pr, totally forgot about Drummond. Maybe its a long shot, but nobody knows at this point. He's the type of name I'd love to have though. The thing is, even if he is a one and done, its huge for the program. If a big name falls our way, it makes Georgetown more attractive to future recruits. In Drummond's case, it reiterates our status as Big Man U. As unlikely as it is, we can dream.

allow me to clarify. from the little i saw of starks last year, he has a lot of improving to do before he becomes a star caliber player. that being said, many posters on this board who may have more exposure to markel than i believe he has a high ceiling. Therefore, I don't know enough about him to formulate a definitive opinion, but from what I hear, he has ton of potential and therefore could be a star. from what I know about jabril, the kid is already a stud...and he he develops a consistant outside....the kid will be a star. oh sorry, i wasnt trying to be a markel advocate. i just thought it was interesting. i agree with most of your points. but lets just wait to see how jabril does in our offense first.

Amile Jefferson '12 should be on this type of list. He's still listing us.

I haven't seen Jefferson list us in quite a while.
Would love to be wrong.

Telep's article listed Matta, Wright, and III as the heavy hitters at Peach Jam, and also remarked that they were each there to get face time with Jefferson. So maybe we're still in the running.
Good for us for staying on him. We really have cast a wide net. Not sure how it'll work out, but I commend III on the effort.

Some say it is all about results, but there are many reasons why a recruit may go elsewhere and lack of recruiting effort from the staff is but one of these. I think that it is refreshing to see which players and how hard III appears to be recruiting this past year. Hopefully we see some of the top 25 type players return to the hilltop.

I think Allerik Freeman could probably be added to this list as well.
