Per ESPN, Ryan Harrow is going to transfer from NC State. Could we be interested? Here is the article: After weeks of up-in-the-air speculation, Ryan Harrow said he would transfer from NC State. This move was somewhat expected; Harrow famously supported Lowe when he was still in high school. At the moment, it would appear that Mark Gottfried and his coaching staff will save Harrow's scholarship rather than pursue another guard. Harrow's absence means Lorenzo Brown will slide into the starting spot, a position he filled ably last season. In Gottfried's offensive system, Brown should thrive; however, Harrow's absence leaves the Wolfpack with a severe lack of depth. However, the future guard for State still remains committed to the program. Tyler Lewis, a 5-foot-11 guard in the 2012 class, has been optimistic regarding Gottfried's hire and has been a force in this offseason's early AAU events. His ESPN recruiting profile: espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/66351/ryan-harrow

Don't know why you would want to go to UK as a PG unless you are a one and done kind of kid. Rose, Evans, Wall, Knight, Teague...Cal will get a top 10 pg every single year from now until he ends up in the NBA or sanctioned. That's not even counting Bledsoe.

The thing is, the 2012 class is not deep in point guard talent at all. So, after sitting out a year, Harrow becomes the guy for Cal in that class.

I think he's a little wild, quick and fast though.

apparently wasn't on UK campus yesterday. A rumor started by UK folks that wasn't substantiated and is false.
Just left NC State yesterday.
Would be a game changer w/Hoyas because of his speed.

He's set up a visit/been rumored he'll transfer to Kentucky (in part the fact the '12 guards are so weak--he's more coveted) and while I'd love to see him visit--think it's going to take some development/guy getting into NBA as a guard for kids like Harrow to come to Georgetown. I'm all for Semaj Christon--and would take a commitment asap if they can get it--prep year and all--before everyone and their brother is on him.

ESPN now reporting that Ryan Harrow is considering Georgia...
UPDATE: According to this blog post, Georgia is another possible destination for former NC State point guard Ryan Harrow. Harrow was the 2009-10 Georgia State Player of the Year while starring at George Walton Comprehensive High School in Marietta, Ga.
"I'm considering (Georgia). Yes sir," Harrow said during a phone interview on Tuesday. "I haven't really made any decisions on where I'm going to go yet, but Georgia is on my list."
