Wow great feature. Interesting how our defensive shooting %s are decently good, even in our down years.
Real cool...

Very interesting new feature on KemPom. There are definitely patterns to be seen in JT3 coached teams- namely in tempo of play and the four factors. Turnover percentage is horrendous both on offense and defense, we're terrible about getting to the free throw line, allow too many offensive rebounds and don't grab enough. We seem to compensate for these things with an elite eFG% both on offense and defense.

Except we've turned into a mediocre three point shooting defending team. Not a surprise that the last two Marches have ended in an explosion of threes. Hopefully being a longer team the next few years will enable us to close out on shooters more convincingly.

Nothing elite about any of those defensive numbers in the last 2 years. when your overall number is in the 50s and fg% is in the 40s not much positive can be said.

Haha, you can check out Craig Esherick's profile too. Pretty much worse across the board, but you can see the effect of the press in our good defensive TO%.

Notice the offensive rebounding % the year we made the Final 4 - 40%. I was surprised that our Turnover % has remained constant, but in that year we were able to make up for it because of our uber-efficient offense and markedly higher offensive rebounding %.
