espn.go.com/dickvitale/vcolumn050308-All-Rolls-Royce.htmlHas anyone read this? I won't even bother tearing it apart because it would be like beating a one armed child in a snowball fight, but has anyone ever read any of his articles that ever offered any real analysis other than him just saying someone is great?

I thought nothing he could write or say would ever surprise me again, but I almost threw up on my keyboard when I saw his National Player of the Year was Reddick.
Hilarious.

Vitale on why Redick should be player of the year: "He has come through in big games." Yeah, that last UNC-Duke game wasn't big at all.
Vitale is all hype, no substance, baby.
Question of the day: If Vitale had to choose between marrying Redick or Coach K, what would he choose? It's a tough one.

I'm pretty sure whatever his choice one would end up cockolded by the other.

I'm sorry, isn't this 2005... isn't Jay Williams (the best point guard in basketball history) supposed to be dominating the NBA hardwood right now?

there was something on SC this weekend about how all the fans hate JJ and he was apparently unable to explain it. maybe if so many idiot sportcasters didn't kiss his @$$ so much then people would treat him as the slightly above average player he is, as opposed to the overrated punk kid he also is.

Oh, you didn't hear? After his horrific motorcycle "accident" -- witnesses reported seeing the K-Mobile in the vicinity -- he was airlifted to Duke University hospital where, after doctors reviewed his donor card, he had his very essence transplanted into JJ Reddick. This allowed them to return Laettner's essense to him, as it was no longer needed, hence his mini-revival in the NBA...

I think I would place Redick on 3rd team All-American. Is this guy getting senile or what?

MY absolutely favorite part of it was his use of exclamation points when talking about JJ. Regular words wouldn't do it...he has to exaggerate to extremes.
Vitale is old and senile. No big deal. I never read his lists of junk anyway...just a waste of time and effort.

Is Dukie V. now hyphenating his name, like Camilla Parker-Bowles?
Dukie Vitale-Moron. It has a nice ring to it.
