Well it's not hard to find a possible example. It seems clear that Dajuan Summers was pushed out after his junior year. Granted, Dajaun wasn't playing team ball at all that last year. Pushed out? More like informed Coach at the beginning of the season that he was leaving after season...

Well there was that article the day of the @villanova game that season with Summers quoted as saying he was coming back. In the same article JT3 said he didn't want to talk about it and that they would discuss it after the season was over.

I remember an article where JT3 hinted that DS had informed him at the begnning of the season that this would be his last. But, before we go back and forth, only DS and the staff know exactly what happened.

No, if you are recruited as a schollie player, you will always count as a schollie player. not matter what. There are no easy ways around the 13 schollie limit, not gimmicks, no tricks. At least, none that the NCAA would approved. Face it. There are 13 schollies per team. We have 13 committed for next year -- at the moment. Yet, we are still actively recruiting for 2011. Clearly, one or more players on the current team are not likely to be her next year. On that subject-http://bit.ly/fRbuNW Nice find. The player shuffle is on at MSU. "Super Coach" Izzo has another scholarship available: sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=6266850

I seem to remember III being quoted in an article, saying something like "for one player, coming back was not an option." Everyone got all worked up about that meaning Summers was pushed out, and then we learned that he had just become a father, which seemed to be the reason he couldn't come back. This article notes that his son was born in June 2009: www.nba.com/pistons/features/summerschool_100609.html

So all the DaJuan Summers talk is nice and everything, but really, after we lost out on Ochefu... what's next for our recruiting?

If Dajuan didn't declare his intentions until late in the season, then he left the team hanging, but if he announced to Coach at the outset of the season then we claim that he "mentally checked out" before the year began. The man can't win. With regard to that quote however, timingwise it could also have been a reference to Omar, and I think it was more ominous than simply "coming back was not an option" but more like "Not everyone who wanted to come back could."

Doesn't the answer to this question at least in part depend upon who transfers? Given that we don't speculate on that, it is hard to speculate on recruits. To be sure, the three guys listed by Superan -- or certainly the first two -- are probably "take them no matter what" kinds of guys, but I think we should wait to see what happens when the roster shakes out.

In regards to need:
1. DSR 2. Parker 3. Anderson
As for focus:
1a. Anderson 1b. Parker 1c. DSR
That said, I have no clue.

Parker should be the goal. That is all we are missing right now.

If two are leaving and Otto gets 1 ship and they save the other, then doesn't that give Hoyas 3 ships for 2012? If so, then that means theoretically they could sign all three.
