Mcdonald back, man that guy was a very gritty player, not quiet Gene Smith, but on the boards he didnt let his size become a handicap. He used to mix it up, hey we should call him up maybe he can give the guys a pep talk about rebounding on the boards. I still remember him and the Jerome Lane fight in Pittsburgh. Honestly though this current team puts me in the mind of the team Pre Mourning Era.

Egerson better just beat on people when they don't hustle enough. Definitely like that he is coming in with the boxing background. That's a sport that should teach toughness and hustle like no other.

"yeah was lane nuts or what to challenge the golden gloves champ..."
Hey, Lic, they were lined up in the foul lane when the tussle began. As soon as Jerome saw it was Perry he was squared off against, he quickly moved to the base line and took off. The camera caught it all! Jerome was many things but he was not nuts.

I remember when he hit that awkward A$$ shot against the cuse with about 1 second on the clock, The guy played center at 6-4 and played his heart out day in and day out. I remember when he cried his senior season as we got put out of the tourny by Temple. He took it hard, and he played hard. But the Jerome Lane incident ranks highly on my lists of Hoya favorites.

Maybe we can bring Perry McD. back as rebounding coach. Mrs. DeG. was a good friend of his at GU; let her put a bug in Jack's ear. ;D
