Some of our sister hoya sites have posted ESPN's odds of advancing to each round of the NCAA Tournament using ESPN's proprietary statistics... Well, another way of seeing each teams percentage chances of advancing to a certain round in either the Big East or NCAA Tournament can be found at ... www.teamrankings.com/ncb/conference-tournaments/big-east/ . I linked to the Big East tournament page, because that has to be our first priority ... getting ourselves a seed that makes a long run more likely than not. Its a fun sight to play around with.

Wow, giving DePaul a 0% chance to make it to the BE championship game. Sure, it's accurate, but still...they do have a basketball team, so there must be SOME chance, right?

Whoever wrote the intro summary did not understand the chart. The chart has Pitt's odds of reaching the championship game as 50%, the odds of winning the title 33.7%.
These odds are based on the bracket according to the current standings. Interesting that they give 3 seed Georgetown better odds of beating the winner of 6 Syracuse vs. 11 St. John's than they give 2 seed Notre Dame of beating the winner of 7 Cincinnati vs. 10 Marquette.
Also they don't think much of Louisville, only 67 percent odds to beat Rutgers and if they win, not much chance against Villanova.
