Right on. Definitely sounds like a Hoya in the making. So how does Harry feel about Obama?

He is much too wise to offer political opinions.

Wow!!! I am so happy for Harry's health and he seems he is on his way to being a Renaissance man. I liked the shout out for me on the track/XC scene. But I am happy that his sports are diversified. That is the way it should be. Now his being inducted into the National Junior Honor Society brings back bad memories for me. Our outreach coordinator at work asked me to speak to some junior honor society students at a new by middle school. I would often go to schools to do some chemistry demos and talk to the kids about a career in science and the importance of a good environment. So I was going to ad lib my way with this class of students. I had a tie on, but no coat jacket and a head of hair that needed cutting. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the school with the school band playing, the audience was filled with parents, and the principal looked like a model from GQ. I was the MAIN speaker for the national honor society induction ceremony. They even had a printed program with my bio. The only thing I can think of was how I would get back at our outreach coordinator. I don't know how I got through that talk. I hope Harry had a better experience and a better main speaker! It sounds like you looked like a scientist! Well done, sir. I'm so very thankful to know that Harry is healthy and happy and such a well rounded young man. He's a blessing to us all. Thank you Elvado, as ever, for sharing Harry's story and struggles from the beginning and his remarkable successes over the past seven years. I think of him often in my own life when times aren't what I'd hope and he has offered both perspective and direction. Many thanks and continued great health and happiness to all.

Opening day for Harry’s Little League team. Played the whole game at second base and ripped a two out single into left to drive in the winning run.
Grinning from ear to ear when he made the turn at first...
Great day.

England is relying on Harry and today he was right on. Harry Kane is a world-class striker, and he’ll have some Tottenham teammates behind him to provide the kind of assists he likes. GO HARRY!!!

Harry turns 13 tomorrow and will spend his day with his big brothers on the Hoya soccer pitch. Coach invited him down to be honorary captain.
As always, profound thanks for the love shown my son on this board and throughout the Hoya community.

Is he ready for his bar mitzvah? It's nice to get these periodic updates.

13 may strike terror in some parents. They probably don't see the other side as clearly as Harry's folks. I wish young Harry the happiest of birthdays with many, many, many more to come. Best of everything to the young bad-ass in the coming year!

He had a fabulous day with his big brothers on the Hoya soccer team. Did pregame warmups, the coin toss, served as honorary captain and then rooted Hoyas on to an exciting 2-1 OT win over DePaul.
After the game, he gave all the boys TastyKakes and they sang happy birthday to him in the locker room. Coach Wiese gave him a scarf and training top.
Caught up with his good friend Steve Neumann and walked down the hill from Shaw with Brendan McDonough his new best buddy.
Just a fabulous day that filled me with much joy and appreciation for this Coach and program.

What a great birthday for Harry! Clearly the Hoya program is about much, much more than wins and losses (and draws).
