from what I'm reading on twitter, there is an update on 247 and the gist of it is:
Enjoyed Texas visit, WILL visit Georgetown and Missouri and decided between Bama, MSU and UK for final 2 visits.

I like that too. Let him get to know Jabril and Otto, and the rest of the team. And Pops.. he seems to work wonders with many of these kids. If we get the visit, give it our best shot... then let the chips fall. We may or may not get him, but at least we have a fighting chance. We're in the game.

Can't help but think that Tyler and Othella will be big assets also. Tyler and he played against each other in high school. If he came to Georgetown he would already have a coach and teammate who can make him feel right at home on the hill.

Good point on Tyler and Othella to go along with Kirby.
Three Mississippi guys can't hurt.

I think he'll enjoy his visit with this group a lot more then he did MM visit.

I really thought he was close to committing shortly thereafter. Let's see what happens. Never was close to making a decision and it was nice to have him up--but he'd be able to really get his questions answered from the more outgoing and energetic group on campus now. not to mention having Broadus, Othella, and Kirby to do the hard work on him--Pops being around always helps--and the FR group who recruits like a lot.

According the Powermizzou.com, Pollard has scheduled his Mizzou visit on Feb. 4 for the Kansas game.

Doesn’t Mizzou lose almost their whole roster next year?? English, Matt Pressey, Ratliff, Denmon, and Moore are all seniors. Hard to believe these guys would be getting seriously considered.. Recruiting.. smh

I'm not exactly sure how Jabril, Otto, Greg, and Devonta would function on the court offensively at the same time, but they would make a downright disgusting 2-3 zone with a shot blocker in the middle (e.g., Noel). That squad might actually shut out opponent 3-pointers for an entire season.

I see that Pollard and Otto have something in common. Devonta's mother played college basketball just like Otto's mother did. Just think of the basketball IQ conversations the two of them could have at the Hoya's home games.

At GTown Devonta would be fighting for minutes with Gregg, Otto, and maybe Hollis...........

Recruiting.. smh They are losing 5 of their top 7 from this year, but many feel they are going to be pretty good next year too. They will be returning both of their point guards (including Flip Pressey who is one of the best pg in the country) and will get back 6'9" Laurence Bowers who was All Big 12 last year and would have been their best low post player had he not had an ACL injury over the summer. They already have three really good transfers who will become eligible next year in Keion Bell, Earnest Ross, and Jabari Brown. Bell averaged 16ppg over 3 seasons at Pepperdine, Ross averaged 16ppg last year as a soph at Auburn, and Brown who was a 5* recruit last year and started this season at Oregon before transferring over Christmas. Add to that a good recruiting class already and they should pretty solid next year. As far as Mizzou's recruitment of Pollard goes, he's really their only target left at this point for the 2012 class so I imagine he's getting a lot of attention.

Good luck with Jabari Brown--that team chemsitry will go down the toilet. Gunner, horrible teammate, and overrated player. Best thing that happened to Georgetown recruiting last year was not getting too involved with that kid. He would've ruined this year's team with his attitude/gunning.
