I expect this will pick up a lot this week. Football staff had around 30-40 kids on campus this past weekend with families. Did a giant tour with all of them.

A California linebacker (4.0 GPA) visited Georgetown and is evaluating playing at GU or taking a grayshirt offer from UTEP (i.e., enroll in JC in 2011 but get a scholarship a year later). www.sgvtribune.com/sports/ci_17187877

I just watched the highlight reel on recruit TE/DE Alec May. Man, that was fun to watch. Seems like he's got a great nose for the ball. I was more impressed with his D than O (made a LOT of big plays, worked hard to get to the right place, etc.), but he did some great stuff on O also. If you've got 5 minutes, check it out: www.hudl.com/athlete/49108/alec-may

Freehold Boro lineman [db]Michael Kasten[/db], who helped lead the Colonials to a 10-2 record and Central Group III title this past season, has made his college decision. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound prospect has picked Georgetwon as his school of choice Kasten, who chose Georgetown over Colgate and Marist

Excerpt: Coral Gables (Fla.) offensive tackle Mike Roland, the 6-foot-4, 295-pound lineman will sign on Wednesday. "I felt like Georgetown will give me more opportunities in the future and has the best education," Roland said. "I'm going to go with the Hoyas." georgetown.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1183975

Wow - 21 Commitments identified and they all look pretty solid, this is unusual for this many to be posted or identified this early. I hope we keep all of them!
Beyond that, by the looks of the size and quality of the recruits - this seems to be one of the stronger recruiting classes that I can remember.
Do others tend to agree?
I am curious if anyone knows what is being said to recruits about MSF, Scholarships in 2012, Future of Patriot League, Etc....
Anyone have any info on this?
