We dropped to #15 in the AP...not too bad i guess. I didn't think we would drop that far tho since Temple is a good team.
edit: Temple isn't even ranked, which is surprising since they did beat a top 10 (well former top 10) team

I'm floored that UConn is ranked 4 right now. More a result of teams ahead of them losing but still. They have a couple more cupcakes and then they open Big East play at Pitt (so hopefully I'm right and Pitt beats them).
Cuse should remain undefeated for a while. They have 3 more cupcakes and then the beginning of their Big East schedule looks VERY easy.

I love how we're ranked a spot below Mizzou.

Two AP voters failed to include the Hoyas on their ballots this week. That seems a bit harsh.

But while that 1 man Kemba Walker bs might fly in the OOC, it's not going to in BE play. I'm pretty confident Pitt will find a way to make other guys score on UConn. Then we'll find out if they remotely deserve this ranking.

I think that's a pretty fair ranking for us.

Wilner also has Baylor unranked, and in fact, his poll would look like he just copied a preseason ballot (except for the inclusion of St. Mary's at #21 and SDSU at #10).

Big East with 7 Teams in the top 25, Big 12 with 6, Big Ten with 5, Mountain West with 3, SEC with 2 and ACC with ummm, only 1. Same as C-USA.

Clearly a west coast bias.

Clearly a west coast bias. I would normally think so, but as an avid follower of Pac-10 football and seeing his polls each week for football, in which he consistently ranks Pac-10 teams below their overall AP ranking, I just think he's awful at his job. That's all. Just a blowhard that fits with the Bum and Scott Wolf, amongst I'm sure many others.

Villanova is the big joke in here. They have played one quality opponent (Tennessee) and lost.
I am not afraid of anyone in the Big East this year and I'm saying it now - the Big East regular season championship will be decided between Georgetown and Syracuse on February 26th at Verizon Center, on Senior Day for Austin, Chris and Julian. Be there.

Tough to judge the BE teams so far this yr. Cuse has looked bad through a lot of their games, but had a good win versus a MSU team on a slide, and may be getting it together. ND may be one of those teams that will beat teams when hot...but lose others. Nova has not played as well as their ranking yet and seem to lack that go to guy. Pitt is tough but Tennesee is the type of team with versatile players all over that can play to them. We looked great in most games...except for the one against a midmajor on ESPN (even though it was on the road). And pretty sure we all agree UCONN will need more the current 1-2 punch to win the league, which what a top 4 team will be in the end. Marquette plays Duke close but can't pull out a marquee win, ditto for WVU. And we'll see what Louisville/Cincy is made of after they enter BE play.

Speaking of Nova, someone compare Mouph to Moses at the same stage. Skills, O, D, etc.
