He might be better of going to tobacco road. How many guard have gone to the league under III? The Princeton is not an offense for a pint guard to shine. Only one Georgetown guard has been drafted in the last 22 seasons. This is not some sort of recent phenomenon under JT III.

I hear what you are saying and the point is taken; but has a gaurd of Britt's talent been to Gtown during III's time? Jessie Sapp, JWall, Rivers, etc were not going the League in any scenario. Chris and Austin were the closest. But neither were guarantees. Both faded down the stretch and were hurt by underperforming teams that had no NCAA success. JTIII hasnt had NBA talent at the PG spot so there havent been any drafted. The article was good, but typical UMD bias. They are late to the game in my opinion. If Britt is going to stay local I dont see the point of going to UMD over Gtown.

The WPost covers Britt more than any Redskin it seems. Can you blame them? He actually WINS games ;D

There is no such thing as "late to the game" when it comes to recruiting and especially underclassmen. Nate Britt will evaluate things and when it comes to NBA stuff--well it's simple-you can say " so and so never develops...." but you can only instruct someone--they have to listen too. Always takes a guy to break the mold and then perception changes.
It's far less about development and more about letting guys play. How do you develop someone in 1 year as most of your elite/Lottery type NBA guards are. Did Coach K develop Kyrie Irving? LMAO. Did Calipari develop Rose/Wall/Knight or just let them have the ball, give them minutes and let them play their game?
III let Wright/Freeman do what they had to do-he also let Greg Monroe do his thing. Greg is doing just fine and other two had nice careers in college and improved as players. You can't make a fringe NBA prospect into a lottery pick. You can make them into good college players and think both guys were that.

Watch the Adidas Nations tourney on TV last night. First off let me say that Gabe York is a very impressive scorer who will be outstanding at Arizona. They are actually gonna have a real log jam for playing time if the great freshman backcourt they will have next year are still both on the scene when york arrives. he scored at all three phases of the game and he did it with efficiency. Sorry he won't he a Hoya.
As for nate he would be a really good fit for the hoyas because he is a great distributor who has a good feel for the game. However he is an underwhelming athlete. I think he is not a sure fire pro and I am not sure how much expansion he has on his game. of course his numnbers will increase and he will do all of the same things that he does now better, but I do not think that his game will expand a whole lot from where it is. So he could be an awesome four year guy for the hoyas. But I do not see him as a big-time difference maker as he is playing against more physically imposing guys. And truthfully i would like to see the Hoyas get a few pros on the perimeter in the next couple of years.

A rumor on MdHigh.com site says that Britt is considering going to Oak Hill--and if that happens--maybe some will realize that it's time to move along.

Really surprised by that. If that is the case though I think he takes it. Unless Duke were to offer as well.

Scout.com confirms the same (scholly offer from UNC). That's a shame if he goes, but certainly preferable over UMCP in my view. tinyurl.com/6zr2bmh

I prefer Jordan to Britt anyway. Maybe even Ennis. Britt is local so I know that's an appeal to III. Gonzaga
