They gave it to Greivis Vasquez last year. So, I guess being a good PG might exclude you. Ballhogging is the priority.

I generally wouldn't want to urinate in a toilet after Greivis had used it, but this is a perversion. I just left a message for some guy at bb hall of fame, imagine I am not the only one. Going to be odd at the end of the year when the best point guard in the country isn't even on their long list

If there were less nominees...I'd be okay with it. But to say he isn't one of the top 66 PGs...that is just silly.
Duke has Kyrie AND Nolan Smith. I actually agree with Nolan Smith more so than Kyrie. He hasn't done anything really - and he will be out most of the year. But he is better than Chris?
Also - Temple's Juan something is on the list. I have to say - I really liked his game against us.

I think that the list was just too full of CW's, already 4 other guys with those initials so Chris just didn't fit.

Tweeted Jeff Goodman about this, his response:
goodmanonfox Bob Cousy committee left G'Town's Chris Wright off list of 66. I'd say he deserves a spot more than, say, Joe Jakubowski of Bowling Green.

Ask Chris Paul if he should be on the list.

Looking at some of the names on the list leads me to believe that Chris' ommission from the list has to be a mistake. Now that some of you have pointed it out lets give it a day or two to see if he makes the correction...........

I've never seen a more underappreciated undervalued player than Chis Wright....this makes me sick to my stomach...Chris is without a doubt one of the top five pg's in college basketball right now

And to answer about Chris' NBA prospects,
DHall, he'll make a roster. Height doesn't matter. He's a pure point guard. In the man-to-man world of the NBA, he can get by his man, get into the lane and create problems. He can run a team, he can make an open jumper. He won't be a great defender, but he'll be solid. He's definitely good enough to play in the league.
As for comparisons to Jameer? Chris is a tad quicker, but Jameer's a much better shooter. Chris is a better passer, and probably a better defender. Jameer's better at creating shots for himself. Chris is helping himself out immeasurably because he's running the team this season instead of being a scoring point guard.

Height does matter. Very few 6' make the league and stick. Not saying Chris won't make it, but height is a HUGE factor for NBA teams.

Height matters in some ways...but chris is good enough to make the league...with the skill set he has, wouldn't matter if he's 6-1 or 5-9

But have you paid attention to the GMs in the NBA? If you're 7-feet and can walk without drooling, they'll draft you. If Wright changed his name to Darko Gallinari and moved to Bulgaria for a year, he'd go in the top 10. But a short PG who went to college for four years is not at the top of most NBA draft boards (unless David Kahn needs to draft some more point guards).

I just sent my email full of statistics asking how they could have made such a glaring omission.

It's tons of disrespect and obviously he has taken note (see his twitter). What I love about Chris is he really is a winner. He really is a leader. He really is a great, great player. Since Pat left, he has been my favorite player. One of my favorite memories will be Chris' ridiculous game at cuse his sophomore year. That's when he became my official favorite.
Use this disrespect as motivation. Honestly, I wouldn't take anyone on that list over Chris. F Kemba Walker. Just crush it Chris.

It's fairly obvious the Cousy award people are morons.

Who nominates 66 people for an award? I thought increasing the number of "Best Picture" Academy Award nominees to 10 was a bit too much. Sixty-six? What criteria could they have possibly applied with any rigor at all?
