Watched the Syracuse v Canisius and the Indiana v Wright State games and apart from the obvious: Syracuse is loaded; and Indiana is mediocre at best, I could not help but wonder what Riley and Rivers are thinking right about now. Riley got no PT at all today and probably wont get much for the rest of his career there because Syracuse has freshmen Kieto(6-10) and Fair(6-9) this year and Christmas coming next year when Jackson leaves. Rivers is no longer a starter and got minor minutes in each half. The announcers said that Creen had told Rivers not to worry about offense, just be ready to play tight defense against the other teams scoring guard. Now where have I heard that before?

riley is most likely one for the year. How about Pre season FOY Fab Melo averaging 16 minute 3 pt 4 rbds 0 blks and fouled out of both games. lol.

Fab with 15 minutes, 2 points and ZERO boards against mighty Detroit last night. Gonna take some time, I guess - maybe he'll be good next year in the NBA.

But he didn't foul out, which is an improvement over his last 2 games.

I don't care if Scoop Jardine got 27 pts or not...I still think he is garbage as is Triche. We better not let either of those clowns beat us when we play them.
Jackson, on the other hand, while offensively limited, is a load. I foresee some issues with him, but let him get his 18 boards and keep everyone else in check and we'll be fine.

playing cuse this year without many big bodies in our front court will be difficult. a lot will be dependant on our ability to stretch their zone - and their ability to crowd our shooters.
i HATE their 2-3 zone for this. I think we'll have a tough time with them to be honest.
