Yeah seems like Us, UK and UNC are the three main schools. Honestly not overly optimistic about our chances. Did worry that taking TJ would further hinder our chances from landing Troy. Would really like to see us make a push for the 2013 guys now. Um, even with family connections, if we beat out those two schools everyone should be shocked. And I mean really shocked, not TJ Warren's definition of shocked.

Troy is worth outdoing the Kyle thread for.

Yeah not to add to negativity, don't feel as comfortable as most about our chances with Troy. Seems to really like UNC. I was hoping that If we didn't get TJ he would have gone to UNC and help our chances. I just hope we can close this one.

Man, it would be great to get an indication from Troy soon so we don't end up using a scholarship on White when we arguably don't need it.
Terrible to judge from 1 game, but hearing the comments on Markel and Jabril yesterday, and looking at the depth chart, I see PG as the greatest area of need after signing a pure C. I'd hate to slot an additional 2 scholarships away for the SF position (even though having both White and Troy obviously is not necessarily a bad problem).

Seems to be feeling UK and UNC way more than us. Feel like we may be wasting our time personally

I just think UNC/UK fans are twitter stalking him more I mean that's for sure but he really seems to be reciprocating the love. I don't know. That's just the sense I get. Who knows.

I just think UNC/UK fans are twitter stalking him more Just went to his twitter page. It's really pretty sad. If you look at some of the dudes shouting him out, their disguised as hot girls saying come to UK. If you look at their profiles, all these "girls" do is tell high school ballers they should go to UK... all around the same time of the day. Wouldn't be surprised if it was one guy with a bunch of different accounts (Calishadi, perhaps???)

I know it isn't going to be easy, but it would be really nice to win one of these "recruiting battles". I feel like every time there is a close recruitment we always lose the kid. But we should go all out for troy, and I think this is more winnable than past recruits.

He was at the Georgetown Women's basketball game at Maryland. Of course we lost in embarrassing fashion, but luckily I don't think that will effect his decision.

Every team always feels like that because it is impossible to get every kid you want to commit. You recruit twenty kids in hope that two or three will commit.

He was tweeting with a Gtown fan that said that right after the beatdown we gave uncg. I think they were joking.

Asked @georgetownhoyas I we still ran the Princeton then agrees with the fans comment about getting rid of it? Would love to be wrong but sheesh. Tired of the negative press with being associated with the Princeton since it's not exactly what we run and we push the ball

Troy does a lot of really, really good things..and I'd love to have him. But his game is far from a good fit for our offense. There is no way around that.
Not that Whittington's and Porter's grow on trees..but that's the prototype. Troy doesn't possess their perimeter skills right now. He needs to get out and run, run, run and run some more. Just not sure that's best for him or us.
*I will say if what we saw the first 2 games becomes the standard of how III coaches with amped up defensive pressure..it becomes a MUCH better fit. I'm hoping for that.

I think Troy will give a fair shot in his recruitment. He is from Hampton and his Aunt coaches the women's team, so he is more informed about the princeton than most of our past recruits. Im sure he saw the numbers Free was putting up prior to his diabetes diagnosis. From all that I here Troy is the real deal on both ends of the court............I hope we can get Troy...........

Personally think he is a kid that will fit in regardless of the offensive strategy of the college to which he commits. I'd admit that Georgetown may not be his fastest route to the NBA due to some of his current shortcomings, but he'd be a sure-fire NBA player out of Georgetown, and would be a better player for challenging himself in the Georgetown offense.
