for best professional actor recruited to appear as a concerned citizen in Barry O's informercial Town Hall Meeting goes to Heywood Jablome as the unemployed union laborer.
Just when you think the Democrat party hits rock bottom, they find the elevator down...

How can you be a professional actor when there's no pay and no actors? It's just another stupid "talk with the everyday man" meeting where every participant is pre-selected/screened/vetted. I don't like it, but it can't really be a new low when it's been done by both parties for years now.

Except that Barry O and his boys have taken out ads in the trades for actors... By "Barry O and his boys" you mean Viacom, the owner of MTV, right? Here's the exact posting for those that are interested: "PRESIDENT OBAMA TOWN HALL, MTV MTV, BET and CMT are casting the audience for town hall meeting with President Obama. Shooting Oct. 14, 4 p.m. in Washington, D.C. Seeking—Audience Members: males & females, 18+. To apply, email townhallaudience@mtvnmix.com and put “Town Hall” in the subject line. To ensure that the audience represents diverse interests and political views, include your name, phone number, hometown, school attending, your job and what issues, if any, you are interested in or passionate about. Also, provide a recent photo and short description of your political views. Submission deadline: Oct. 14. No pay." I again don't see how this is any different than any other politician selecting a friendly audience, just the selection process has been privatized. I thought conservatives considered privatization a good thing...

Wouldn't Mr. Transparency and the Smartest Man in the Room want to have an honest open Town Hall where he might have to answer an unplanned, uncanned question?
Of course, no worse a right winger than Fritz Mondale has decried Barry's use of the "idiot board", so maybe impromptu is not really Supreme Leader's thing...

Didn't he just have one on CNBC a couple weeks ago?

At least he didn't go about looking for "hicky" actors. www.politico.com/news/stories/1010/43254.htmlAt least we agree that both were simply casting a commercial. In Barry O's case though, he will call it a "Town Hall" where he takes questions from real concerned citizens. Hogwash and as usual, he knows it to be such. He is the most transparent President ever, inasmuch as anyone can see right through his act...
