And you just threatened to fight someone on an internet message board... Anyone who thinks that I was seriously telling Elvado—who I have never met and know nothing about—that I would fight him is insane, not to mention engaging in the same sort of willful ignorance that it takes to think that the President of the United States is going to engage in "hand-to-hand combat" with anybody. Sorry. You just seem the type.

At least Obama handles things with his fists. Sharon Angle threatened a second amendment solution to Harry Reid. Care to interpret that for me?
Seriously - grow up.

The difference with Dick is that he actually meant it, as he did when he conversed with Leahy on the floor. There is no evidence here that Obama actually meant it. Seriously? The Jon Stewart "I'm Not Serious" defense? It's fine for a late night comic. Doesn't really fly for POTUS. Personally, I think rhetorical phrases and comments get far too much attention. Honestly? I don't really care that Obama used this phrase or tells supporters to "get up in people's faces" (I think he DID mean that one, BTW). But people fly off the handle -- every. single. time! -- when conservatives do it, so I say, "Sauce for the goose...." And pass the popcorn.

When are we supposed to know when he "means it" and when he doesn't? When it suits him/you politically? "There is no evidence." What actual evidence would there be one way or the other?

MOD NOTE: Fancy rhetoric directed against various political figures is fine. Rhetoric directly attacking other posters is not. Clear? If not, I'll start deleting posts.

I accuse the moderators of using foreign money to support these red-colored attacks. Now that I have made this accusation, Dan, it is up to you to refudiate it, even though I have produced no evidence to support my attack. fixed
