All - Please see below. Please keep Dave in your prayers.
Dear friends,
It is with sadness that I share some news about David Fajgenbaum, co-founder of National Students of AMF and our greatest champion. David was admitted to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania last week, where he remains in the intensive care unit. David’s condition is as-yet undiagnosed and though he is very sick, he is stable.
David’s family is with him in Philadelphia and asks that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers. A website has been established where the family will post updates as they are known: www.caringbridge.org/visit/davidfajgenbaum. Unfortunately, the diagnostic process is complicated but what information that can be shared will be done so on this website. You are encouraged to sign the website’s guestbook and these messages will be shared with David.
(Note that we are having some difficulties this evening posting updates to the website but this should be resolved tomorrow morning and we will provide an update then. The guestbook function still works, however.)
You may also post messages to David on National Students of AMF’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/pages/Raleigh-NC/National-Students-of-Ailing-Mothers-Fathers-AMF-Support-Network/26905775816?ref=ts.
David often says that the three most important things in his life are family, friends, and Students of AMF. With that in mind, his family encourages those who are geographically able to attend the 5th annual Boot Camp 2 Build Chapters & 8K to benefit National Students of AMF this weekend (information on how to register can be found at . The Boot Camp is David’s pride and joy and his absence at this year’s event will be strongly felt.
Please know that every word of encouragement, every good thought, and every prayer is appreciated by David, his family, and his friends.
