Only if he sticks to the salad bar.
He's one of my all-time favorite GU players and so skilled. I just wish he had the self-control to get in better shape.

Do you think being in DC with the Georgetown family, Big John, et al. around will help him regain that work ethic? Or is this just a matter of pure personal pride and the environment doesn't matter?

If, if, if Mike is in any kind of shape, he has a real shot to make the Wizards. Their front court is abysmal. James Singleton, Fabrico Oberto...these guys actually played a decent number of minutes. Mike has more post game than anyone on the roster. The fact that it's the local team doesn't hurt either.
I'd love to see him back in the league.

Did Ronny help Mike get in shape and stay there while at GU? Someone needs to help him. He has NBA skills around the Offensive bucket.

Big Mike stayed in "shape" by playing in the P.R. league up until recently. He should be sharp for NBA work-outs, etc...

Mike should come in and work with Henry and Co. Lets see them move the mountain.

Hope it comes together for Sweets, a great Hoya who could use a break. Keep working away the pounds and get back in The League Mike!

Big John is not exactly a role model for losing weight.

Because you like awful tv? ;D Seriously though, Sweets was my favorite Hoya and I almost reinstated my knicks fandom when they drafted him. I still like him but after the past couple years I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Glad to see Mike is still working to get back in the league. As many have said......the skills are there, now it's all about conditioning and desire. Let's hope he keeps working on both and we see him in the NBA next season. Good luck Mike!!

Any good examples out there of a guy who hasn't logged a minute of time in more than three NBA seasons being signed as a free agent? I'm not trying to be cynical, I'm just not up on my history of NBA bench players as some of you may be.

If easyed can't understand it, it's irrelevant.
