Congratulations to Dwayne. Good job at Georgetown Prep. Thanks for Markel Starks. I know that this is just one of several steps that Dwayne will make on his path to administration positions......Great Hoya and good friend of mine.

Is this move health related? That's a good question MCI, given that heart procedure he had. Wish him all the best.

I know that this is just one of several steps that Dwayne will make on his path to administration positions......Great Hoya and good friend of mine. Thank you for Roy Hibbert as well. Good luck to Dwayne. The article on the front page states that despite the obvious connection between the Hoyas and Little Hoyas, only two Prep grads have gone on to play basketball at Georgetown. A few questions: how many D-I basketball players have come from Prep? They seem like a good school, but don't seem to be a real provider of D-I talent. Did Dwayne Bryant go there? Is Markel Starks one of the two mentioned? If not, who was the other Prep grad that went on to play at Georgetown?

Prep has only gotten good in the last few years.....Bryant turned the program around when he got there what 10? 11? years ago? So no they hadn't produced any real D-1 talent to speak of other than Roy and Markel....i don't know for sure but don't recall any
a shame he's moving on could have been a great pipeline of talent going forward if he was able to build up the program even more.

Bryant has been huge for Prep athletics. They have made incredible improvements.
Not sure how much this move can be attributed to health reasons. Both schools are in the greater DC area but if his daughters go to Stone Ridge, he probably commutes an extra 30 mins for working at Prep.
This move is definitely a move down since Prep is one of the premier all-around athletic High Schools in the nation. Not sure why he would do it, unless he is only leaving for a few years while his daughters at Stone Ridge. Maybe he was a parent who got tired of how things were done at Stone Ridge?
Hopefully we will get a good pipeline for our womens teams.

I don't know if this is a move down. I mean He goes from a coach to the head of an entire athletic department. This sounds like a promotion to me.
