Barney Frank, while not busy supervising escort services and obscene bonuses to his pals at Fannie and Freddie, called on the press to investigate the birth certificate of the newly elected Republican Representative from Hawaii?
Is this because the man is Asian?
Is this because he does not know that natural-born status is not a prerequisite for election to Congress?
Or, is he simply a buffoon?
Discuss among yourselves.

I give Barney Frank several points for trying a good snarky little joke.
But about negative 1M points for not knowing the Constitution.

Oh, is there some kind of controversy regarding whether a prominent Democrat official is really an American citizen? Thanks Barney for reminding us periodically so that it doesn't inadvertently slip into dustbin of memory.

Georgetown's own Sean Bielat (CAS '97) is challenging him this year. Scott Brown won the District so anything is possible. www.retirebarney.com
