Jerry Meyer's mailbag indicates that Randle will stay past the end of the TOC this weekend for an unofficial visit to Duke.

Latest Rivals article states that we are one of six schools he is looking at hard. Other five are Duke, Kansas, Stanford, Purdue, and Illinois. Also of note, he did not end up staying after the TOC to visit Duke. highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1089634

Looks like Randle's not waiting around for Kansas or Duke to offer. With Duke likely to get at least one of Austin Rivers and Omar Cook, and Kansas in the hunt for a ton of guards (including Ben McLemore and Jabari Brown), I thought the Hoyas might be able to sneak in there. Had seemed like Randle was looking for more of a national program than the 3 he ended up with.

Quite honestly, I'm a little surprised to see Illinois nailing all these in-staters like Henry and possibly Randle. They have had little success beyond the Big 10 the past couple of years, and not many people from there have gone big-time league recently.
