They got more run than Henry did and performed like Jerelle. They probably know Hollis coming from the same LA class.

No thanks...could see them being a good fit at PAC-10 program like Cal or Stanford. Too soft and not skilled enough for my taste, plus I wouldn't want to hold up 2 schollies.

The Wear STIFFS are just a prime example of why the McDonald's All American Game is a joke. How they made the team? Signing with UNC--simple as that. They have no game and are stiffs.
With the bashing that Henry gets around here--why would anyone want another version x2? I think Henry is bashed unfairly and will prove everyone wrong--but then again Henry is also younger then Wears are and he's going to be a JR in college too. Benimon was not recruited by any major conference programs aside from Georgetown and produced as much/superior to 2 McDonald's All Americans.
Last but not least--have you seen the level of talent Georgetown is involved with in '11 class? Why would you waste two scholarships on kids that are stiffs?

Agree with RDF. I would not call them "STIFFS" but they are not good at all and this is coming from someone that watched every single one of their games. Consider yourselves lucky that Ryan Kelly didn't not waste one of your scholarships, because he my friends is a "STIFF." That being said you def don't want to waste two scholarships on some white twins from Mater Dei.

No Thanks. As a pair they could be worth a single scholarship, but not two.

I guess I got my answer to recruiting them. I saw them in an AllStar game in LA and they looked OK in a guard oriented game. I watched Kevin Love in the same game a few years before and he didn't perform as well as the Wears. He did Ok at UCLA.
The Board thinks we should pass.

You knew somebody would raise the idea.
For starters we've only got 1 open scholarship right now. Also, they didn't really show much so I don't think we'd be too interested when we can just push for 2011 players (who'd start playing at the same time the Wears could) who have far more potential, guys like O'Bryant, Chol or Christmas.

We have at least 4 scholies available for 2011, only one for 2010, this week.

Yes but they count against the scholarship count next year while they're sitting out.

I know that, but only one. The other can be a walk on.

That's the deal they had at UNC. UNC has 13 scholies like everyone else, they have 16 players on the roster.

Are you sure one of them was a walk on and not one of the 3 seniors on that team i've never heard of? All the articles talk about how they were released form their scholarships. I'd be surprised if one of them walked on. I don't know why they'd agree to do that when they could've gone to just as good of a school and gotten scholarships for both of them.
