Vince Young actually looked like a real NFL QB the 10 games he started last season. Shocking, really, considering how poorly he'd played in 2007, his brief action in 2008, and '09 preseason. Reports are he actually figured out he'd have to work at this NFL QB thing. We'll see if that's really true in a couple months.
Denver apparently didn't realize they need better defensive players. Kansas City apparently didn't realize they had about the worst run D in the NFL. I don't like the trade up for Mathews, but SD should still win the division by at least 3 games for at least the next 2 years.
Colt McCoy's upside is Bruce Gradkowski, not Drew Brees.
Rolando McClain's not a 3-down linebacker and was a massive overdraft by Oakland, but he's famous and played for a big school so the pick isn't drawing the criticism it deserves.
Belichick should trade every pick he gets because he misses too many of those he makes. Outsourcing your scouting department to Gainesville isn't a good idea.
The Titans have done a great job of drafting highly productive players with no character issues and limited upside. This is the kind of thing that happens when you let a defensive-minded coach who hates the passing game also call the draft shots.

Just so we're clear, you're talking about the same Titans that drafted Albert Haynesworth, Tank Williams, Vince Young, and Pac-Man Jones.

Floyd Reese cared much more about talent than character and coachability, but the last draft he was GM was 2006. AFAIK, Tank Williams never had any off the field issues, unlike Bear/Cowboy/Bengal Tank Johnson. EDIT: And apparently the focus on character was only for the draft itself, as they're reportedly bringing in LaGarrette Blount as a UDFA. Sigh.

As for Tank, he's certainly not had the issues of the other Tank, but he did get himself a DUI... warroom.sportingnews.com/nfl/articles/20050217/601285.html
