I understand Coach wanting to keep his speech mostly in house, but if anyone feels it not inappropriate to indulge us a little bit, how was it? Any reference to the Ohio game (or other disappointing losses), and/or what the team needs to do next year to be successful? CAHoya, there was no mention of Ohio by anyone. The highlight video showed nothing beyond the BET final and only stated that the team's impressive performance earned them a 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. As in the past, Coach said that we are not trying to "replace" anyone next year. Instead, we will turn to our young guys who will be expected to grow up fast. CWS, Henry's choice in tie color struck me as well, though I remain convinced that it was more orange sherbet than straight orange. Either way, as MH pointed out, he was looking quite dapper. HSB, indeed I think it should be Coach's or Coaches' Award if given on behalf of the coach or coaches. Nevertheless, I received something similar a while ago and it says at the top "Coaches Award." Who knows. Several people on stage talked about the impressive turnout at the Villanova blizzard game. Coach said that they were debating whether to reschedule the game but that it would have been impracticable given the already full schedule. He was grateful that the team was permitted to play the game and his staff was pleasantly surprised by the huge number of fans that trudged through the snow to make it to the game. Someone said that it had a "sell out" feel. Coach again emphasized how important the fans are to the team and how the guys thrive when the Verizon Center is rocking. Can't wait for next season...

Also, FLHoya and I decided that Lee Reed kind of looks like Ron Artest. Our AD dyed his hair orange?

Anyone out there seen or heard from Gammo this season? I have been unable to reach him via email or cell phone. I assume he's in Africa and just really busy, but I want to make sure he's OK.
If you know him and regularly are at the Verizon Center, have you seen him at any of the home games this season? He has 4 seats in first row (not on court) across from Hoyas bench.
Gammo - if you're reading this - I hope you've been able to make it to at least a game or two in DC and will be in NYC for the BET this year to watch us make another run to the finals and WIN it this year!
LET'S GO HOYAS!!! CRUSH CONNECTICUT!
