SG from Baltimore, made some noise this weekend at Boo Williams, lists interest from Hoyas, Penn State, Xavier, Va. Tech, Maryland, Syracuse and Marquette.
From Dave Telep: "My first encounter went something list this: “Man, you’re a dead ringer for Will Barton.” Faust said, “that’s because he’s my cousin.” Faust sports Barton’s No. 5 AAU jersey but its deeper than that. He’s got the same 6-foot-5 body style, wiry frame and game. This guy can score and loves to slash. Willie B, you’d be proud."
From Evan Daniels: "We’ve heard the rumblings out of Baltimore about this 6-foot-6, 175-pound wing. A standout at Baltimore (Md.) City, Faust answered Teague’s buckets at the rim with deep jumpers with defenders draped in his face. But Faust, who does need to add some muscle mass to his frame, did some things off the dribble as well. He didn’t show much from the mid-range but he did have a handful of athletic finishes at the rim. The spring is here is this could be a fast rising junior."

He might be the best player coming out bmore next year. He's a great all around player too. If there's local wing we end up recruiting it should be him.

I have seen him play a couple of times and he is a player. I'd take him at Gtown in a heartbeat. I love Bmore guards. They are tough!

ESPN Review of Faust from this past weekend:
"Nick Faust (Baltimore/City) 2011, SG, 6-6, 175 Team Baltimore Elite Faust is a long and athletic wing who possesses excellent skills. He has the ability to play all three perimeter positions and defend them as well. Faust can make scoring plays off the dribble with his length and touch. He knocks down midrange jumpers and finger-rolls over smaller defenders in the lane. He is streaky from behind the arc but is good enough to put the defense on alert.
Faust can handle the ball, set the offense and make pretty good basketball decisions. He is versatile enough that he can find a matchup to take advantage of in every game. He also has a good basketball IQ and is a good rebounder. Faust competes and plays with good energy. He must add strength and continue to work on his jumper, but his versatility and ability to score in a variety of ways give him an opportunity to be special with continued hard work."

Evan Daniels on Faust:
"Nick Faust, SG, Baltimore Elite – We saw this one coming at the Nike EYBL: Hampton. Faust, a 6-foot-6 slender wing, lit the competition up on Saturday burying three after three from long range. He’s great in catch and shoot situations and off curls. He’s also getting pretty good at attacking the basket. Going forward we’d like to see him gain strength and add a middle game, but it’s hard too be picky, as he appears to be getting better at the right time."

Lawrence Moten comes to mind. Very impressed. My HS team I coach played him and he was a stud! Trust me!

Where do we stand with him? He can really play! I have seen him numerous times.

That isn't remotely realistic given TJ's recent verbal to Nova.

"T.J.O." = www.casualhoya.com/2009/10/22/1096090/big-man-alert-t-jordan-omogbehinAlthough honestly I've heard next to nothing about that guy in a long while. I think the only people really talking about him are on hoyatalk. None of the Rivals reporters (Georgetown or otherwise) seems to be talking about him. No idea how he played last season, guessing not that well.

Yeah, if Big O is playing this summer, he's been very quiet. Haven't seen a single report.

The Big O is still, and will always be, Oscar Robertson.
