6'6" wing forward from Alabama listing Hoyas along with Wake Forest, Alabama, Auburn, Maryland, Marquette and Tulane according to Scout article. Half those schools have new coaches, so not sure how accurate Lanford's list is.

Hoyas have seen him briefly. I'd call it "casting the net" right now. They've been in touch though.

Have been for a while. If he gets outta the state of AL; my guess would be Illinois. They've been on him forever.

Seems like Illinois may be souring on him, though. They haven't offered even though they've been recruiting him for a long time. Unclear that it makes sense for Illinois to take a flyer on an out of state kid that's not that highly regarded over in-state options that would be better politically.

Cousin Josh just signed with Auburn...Scout article on Josh said Devin will now consider Auburn as well.

I think he'll consider. AU is attractive in that its: 3 hrs from home, has a new arena, plenty of pt avail and new coach Barbee recruited him @ UTEP. Told me today, Illinois, MD, Alabama. Wouldn't be shocked if he joined Josh @ AU though.

@dmcdonaldhoops
2011 SF Devin Langford visited Illinois this past weekend and might be visiting Georgetown in the next few weeks.

I knew it was coming. They've been on him the longest and hardest. Good kid, versatile, but needs to take over more. His team played in a tourney in Champaign this weekend I believe. I wish him well and hope he doesn't get homesick and sticks it out.
