news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8612825.stmThe President of Poland and several other high ranking officials have been killed in a plane crash in Russia. The President, First Lady, Army chief, central bank governor, deputy foreign minister, and several MPs were onboard the plane. There were no survivors. Another hugely tragic day for a country that has suffered a lot in its history.

Thoughts/prayers go out to the Polish community. Apart from the tragedy, this will do nothing positive for regional suspicions.

After thinking about it for 2 seconds, my conspiracy inclination made no sense at all. But then they go and appoint Putin to investigate the crash, which immediately raises suspicions again. I mean there are normal accidents in Russia, right?
