Answer is Tom IZZO. Some coaches build a program on flashy one and done talent, while others like IZZO bring is solid 3-4 year players with talent and play like a team. He always seems to have the same type of team: Steady, fundamentally sound with a ton of heart.
This year this Spartan team had no right being in the final four. They were banged up all year and recently lost there best durning the tournament.
One National championship, I think 6 final fours... 13 straight NCAA appearances. Always has his team ready to play come tournament time, rarely a bad loss...
IMO best coach in the game right now.

Completely Agreed.
EVERY four year player under Izzo at MSU has been to at least one Final Four. I think that speaks wonders. And you're right, they had absolutely no business being in the FF and they got there anyway.
Izzo teams always come out firing in March.

We're going down this path again. I'm going with Nick Nolte from Blue Chips.

Yes Izzo does a great job... but let's not go nuts. Who's the best team MSU had to beat to get to the Final 4? Maryland?
This particular Final Four was as much about circumstance as his good coaching.

True, but unlike two of those higher ranked teams in that bracket, MSU came to play every game. They didn't waste their chance at taking advantage of those favorable circumstances.
