it won't depress you - study it, we didn't play poorly although freeman and monroe didn't show up.

I'll leave the game for the coaches to watch.
And I think we can all excuse Austin, he looked off his game since the end of the regular season.

I'll leave the game for the coaches to watch. And I think we can all excuse Austin, he looked off his game since the end of the regular season. I'd agree with that statement, although I do think his performance in his first game back (vs. Cincy) was quite sharp (24 pts, 4-7 3ptr, 3 assists, 2 steals in 30 mins), belying the fact that there was / will still need to be an adjustment period for Ausitn. Hopefully the offseason will give him enough time to get to know his body, within the context of his diabetes, that much better.

I did watch the game again on TiVo over the weekend (or at least up to the point when I stopped recording it mid-way through the second half). We didn't play with any fire (save for Chris) or defensive intensity. Our guards couldn't stay in front of their guards and the help was terrible. Monroe was lazy with hedging out to stop penetration and barely challenged any shots down low. He was forcing his shot (if he wasn't called for traveling first) off the double team rather than finding the open man. Wasn't the same guy I saw in the Big East tournament. With all that said, Ohio made some incredible shots so I give them all the credit. But our guys didn't play well. They might have played hard in stretches, but not with the same sense of urgency or intensity that they showed in the BET.
