Hopefully the men's team will watch and take note of Brittney Grinner's intensity.

Go Lady Hoyas. I caught the end of the game last night and they mentioned that the Hoya women watched the Men's game and came away focused on doing two things --- Defense and Rebounding.

At our gamewatch last Thursday, a recent grad's girlfriend commented on how our defense was non-existent and, as stated, she is not a sports fan. It was obvious to all. I want to see JT3's reaction to it.

Hopefully the men's team will watch and take note of Brittney Grinner's intensity. You wanted Monroe to sucker punch someone during the game?

So, um, getting things back on track, is there any chance of a gamewatch for this one?

Let's go Hoyas! You've done us all very proud this season. You have gotten more wins, and your season has lasted longer than the men's for the second straight year. A win against a formidable Baylor squad would equal the best postseason performance in school history. Looking forward to watching the matchup. ESPN.com says the game will be broadcast on ESPNU. Let's Go ladies! Glad to see the game will be televised. Wish it didn't start so late, but should be good watching anyway. Let's go Hoyas!

Four points in the first 14 minutes for the Hoyas. The women will teach the men D, the men teach the women O.

yeah nothing is falling they're getting good shots, things just aren't falling, but it's not out of reach. Hopefully we hit shots in the second and can win this thing.

12 down at half after going 1-21. Zero FTs attempted for GU. Baylor has about 14 attempts, made about 12. Griner was on the bench for much of the first half.

Does the baylor coach look like the stereotypical texas house wife to anyone else?

Unfortunately this has to be near a record low shooting percentage for a womens NCAA game: 16.9%.
Griner with 13 blocks.

Does the baylor coach look like the stereotypical texas house wife to anyone else? Yes. Ugly, frustrating end to an otherwise memorable women's basketball season. This is a young team that will only get better. The fact that tonight's game made me a bit upset is a testament to how far this team has come. The future is bright. But still, a very disappointing finish. This was an absolutely brutal game to watch. More thoughts to come tomorrow, including some regarding half a Georgetown pep band in We Are Georgetown t-shirts?
