NCAA Play In: Winthrop vs. Arkansas-PB (Looks quite Purdue-like on the scoring front)
BE Teams in Postseason: UCONN vs. Northeastern (NIT) - Northeastern leads with 6 minutes to play USF vs. NCSU (NIT) SHU vs. Texas Tech
Local Teams - UNC vs. W&M VCU leads GWU late in the 2nd half (CBI)

Herb Pope must have voted against accepting the invitation to the NIT.
He just punched some dude and was ejected.

What a surprise that a Seton Hall player loses his mind -- I wonder where that comes from?

What's even funnier is that RU fans have infiltrated the SHU board asking for a long term suspension. I just hope SHU retains Gonzo. His program is a circus.

Herb Pope must have voted against accepting the invitation to the NIT. He just punched some dude and was ejected. Just to add some additional color... the punch was to the opposing player's groin. And there was not one, but 2 punches by Herb... to that same player's groin.

This play-in game has been awful, or as awful as you'd expect from two teams in the bottom 40 in offense.

Anybody see what happened at the end of the USF - NC State game?
State inbounds the ball with 11 seconds left, 6 on the shot clock, and scores.
The only problem is that the clock didn't start.
Basket counted, USF then failed to score after getting the ball back with 8 seconds.

The last time I saw something like that, the team of the puncher went on to the Final Four - Tony Skinn, GMU 2006.

But then the CAA will be better than the ACC when Bill and Mary is done with the heels. 13 3-balls already.

George Mason had a 27-point lead (63-36) with 16 minutes left and lost 101-96 in overtime to Fairfield. Stags hit 4 threes in the last 1:05 while Mason was going 3 of 6 from the foul line.

And maybe the most amazing part was that even though it happened literally right in front of Gonzalez, he argued heatedly about the ejection. He is entertaining, but I don't think the admin at SHU is going to put up with him much longer.

I nominate the groin shot as the new official conflict resolution device for the Board.

The best part is the double punch is like 15 seconds apart. He hits him, he goes down, no one calls it, the dude gets up, runs down the court and Pope nails him again. This wasn't, "oops, I made a mistake" it was "I didn't get him good enough the first time."
