I plan on watching our game at the Ceasar's Palace sportsbook - any other Hoyas out there for March Madness?

I don't normally think as much of the frilly type casinos, but we did go to the Winn and their sports book is awesome.

Lagasse is a $200 minimum per person. I put my name on the list about 6 weeks ago and they never called me. I do find it hard to spend $200. If you eat two meals for about a total of $50 you would have to drink about 20 beers to get your moneys worth. The Hilton looks like they have a good set up. $2 brews and dogs. www.lvhilton.com/Play/Calendar/Casino/Hoops-Central

Likely gonna stay at Caesars for Thursday, but maybe check out some of the other suggestions for Thursday.
I'll likely be wearing either a Georgetown Nike pullover or a WAG shirt - let's all band together at Ceasars for those hanging there

A stupid question here: Does anyone know if Caesars Sportsbook is a non-smoking area? Wanted to bring the kid along to watch the hoyas dominate.

I'm pretty sure you can still smoke in most casino areas, except maybe poker rooms. At least you could the last time I was in one, but that was about a year ago. Oh. Sorry. I guess you didn't want it to be a smoking area.

Last time I was in Vegas, Fall 2008, they would not even let us cut through gaming areas to get to the elevators because we had an infant. Seemed to me like the moral hazard was pretty low but I think "no kids in casinos" might be the only law remaining in NV (though my friend is running for Lt Gov, so maybe he can get the kids in...) This is posted above, but the South Point Casino has a great tourney watching ballroom. (Cheap drinks, tons of space, plenty of betting stations, food, etc.) There are a group of Hoyas that are out there every year. We will be camped out all day - and of course for the Ohio game on Thursday. Jerome Williams will also be on hand.
