With Virginia, Va Tech and of course the Greatest Program of All Time all being eliminated what the heck are the editors going to do? What type of Terp stories can they come up with to engage the masses?

Great game proud to be a hoya fan! Peaking at the right time, great attitude... WHY NOT US? Oh god. That's become a loser slogan. Steve Spurrier uses it for the Gamecocks. Please take that back.

Greg has grown so much in the last year. Just wow. All he needs now is to stop dangling his mouth guard in front of the camera. He's just an incredibly talented player. We didn't even need that much from Austin & Chris tonight. Everyone needs a bit more luck on the FTs - that would have cost us in a closer game - but otherwise we did everything right.

Is anyone worried about Austin, with all these games in a row.. He did not look tired but just not quite himself offensively.. Prob just being to picky...

Just an absolute clinic in the second half. An absolute clinic. It was beautiful to watch. We finally figured out that how to help off and make them take two's instead of three's. Once they had to do that, the game was over. They weren't making 15 footers.

Just imagine if he stays one more year and starts hitting the 3 consistently. I wonder if he could play PG a la Magic Johnson. His skillset is quite similar, believe it or not.

But he had a lot of hops on some of his offensive rebounds. Hard to tell. Things were going so well for everybody else he didn't really have to dominate. Guess we'll see tomorrow night.

Tell me when you've seen a better offensive plan and offensive execution on two consecutive nights against two completely opposite teams.
Hoyatalk's late February = irrelevant

I think his outside shot might be off because he has to adjust to his new weight. But he's still someone that demands coverage if to the double team when he's out there, so I'd rather have him out there then putting someone else in. I think he should get better as he gets used to his new slimmed down weight. (His neck is noticeably thinner)

Hoyatalk's late February = irrelevant That was just the Fickle fanbois and Eschrick Agenda Agents causing trouble. I've been saying all year that this season was fun to watch, that they've been in every game (minus Cuse #1 and the two games Freeman missed) and are much better than last season.

Vaughn had a quietly effective game, with eight points and seven rebounds in 26 minutes.

Tonight's game was amazing. We played strong but soft defense in the first half. Contesting shots but not getting overly aggressive. Our subs played good minutes in the first half giving the core some rest. JT3 has this team playing very very well. I really like the fact that the few games we arent relying on outside shots. We are getting quality points in the paint and when we do take perimeter shots they are open uncontested shots.

I get the desire to compare Greg to Magic-- and other players. But he may be something completely different. Magic had much better ball handling ability. The passing is similar, though. I think it is the ability to digest the whole play and see a half second into the future that makes the comparison to Magic a good one. The mental aspect. The way he has played in the BET has been jaw dropping. I keep thinking, "How did he see that? How did he know that would happen?'

Really great performance by everyone, including the bench and the coach. Statistic that stands out is Hoyas outrebounded Quette 40-18. Wow. And I join those who say Jason has been unappreciated during the BE tournament; plus, he's really expanded his game with some drives to the basket to augment his outside shooting and his defense, along with the entire team, has been outstanding.
