Do you think we could see Vee matchup against Jones when Jason is getting some rest? Vee of course wasn't really part of the rotation when we played them in early Feb, but think he could definitely serve as a good, harrassing defender in spurts to attempt to frustrate Jones.

I would double Jones when Jason's out of the game, personally.

Today' game probably has zero ability to predict tomorrow for the Bulls. Shooting is the most erratic part of the game to begin with, and then this thing was over quickly.
However, aside from 11 threes by Gus Gilchrist and a decent % from Jones, the Bulls are abysmal from 3 on the season.

After the USF game at Verizon, Dominique Jones became my most hated player this season. He's a truly classless punk, and this is the matchup I've wanted since that night. I hope we make him eat his words from that evening. If our guys have pride, they won't just want to beat the kid, they'll want to humiliate him.

I think its pretty clear that tomorrow's game will be the biggest in the history of the USF program. Win and they're probably in the tournament, lose and they may well be out.

Yeah, because ESPN, as expected, only really talks about their own bubble/bracketology, people forget how close USF really is. In many other brackets, they are right there and two wins over Gtown, Pitt and 11 Big East wins would be hard to deny. We better come to play.

Agree that USF is going to be hungry, but we still have to want it more than them. And by "it" I'm collectively referring to (in no particular order): - the ability to prove that this team can play with focus and intensity for the full 40 minutes of every game
- the opportunity to play (and beat) Cuse a third time
- the opportunity to advance and win an 8th BET championship
- the opportunity to get a better seeding in the NCAAs
- revenge for Feb 3

Hoya fan from Philly. Heading to the BET on Thursday if GTown can beat USF tomorrow. Any Hoya fans have an extra ticket or 2 they are willing to sell?

It's usually hard to get up for a first round game, but Mr. Jones and his guys did a lot to give the Hoyas some motivation on February 3. The only tape the team need to see is a tape of that game. Let's show our appreciation tomorrow. GO HOYAS!!!

Deny Jones the ball, like GU (mostly Jason) did in the first half of our home game vs USF and we win. Let him get the ball in scoring position, like we did in the second half, and... Feed Greg, like we did in the first half of our home game vs USF, and we win. Even with Gilchrist added to Famous as post defenders. Stop feeding Greg, or Greg in foul trouble, and... It'll be a struggle.

Real Locker Room Poster Material-
"They just wanted it more than us."
It wasn't from the USF game, but it should focus these Hoyas on why they've lost nine games this year. It's not a lack of skill or bad strategy that's crippled them in games like tomorrow's, but a simple failure to match a lesser opponent's intensity for forty minutes. Our opponent KNOWS that it's a matter of win-or-go-home on Wednesday. Do we??

Jones is getting his 20 one way or another. The key is to make him work for it. 29 points on 17 FGA ain't gonna cut it. 20 on 16 is better, but make him work for 1 point per FGA and we're gonna win.

Is the game v USF on ESPN or ESPNU. I've seen it listed on both. BE site says ESPNU, ESPN site says ESPN. Need to set DVR to record...

If I were a betting sort of man, I might imagine that 7 points would be a fair spread on this game...
