well, the Huskies helped us out here. UConn won 88-74. Villaneuva decided he wanted to play today to the tune of 25 points.
So ND is now 16-8 and 8-6 in conference, with UCLA, Rutgers and Pitt left.

ive been touting all year that uconn stinks cause they dont have a point guard ... well with marcus williams progression i declare myself dead wrong.. hes is a great point and getting better talik who?.... they will be tough at uconn ...very tough tougher than last time.. and i think they will do well and better than expected in the big dance .... ouch hate to hear those..... conn relatives giving me grief again.. tough to win there but not impossible.... if we get back to the hustleing heat attack hoyas... go hoyas ...beat nova......

Really good that ND lost again. If they lose to Pitt as they should, and lose 1 more, theyll really be on the bubble.
We really need BC to beat Nova Wednesday too. Thats huge.

All three of their remaining games are at home. ND won't pull a fade. They'll go at least 2-1, if not 3-0.

If they finish 9-7 (which is very likely) and we finish 9-7, then it may just come down to who performs better in the BET. Of course, if Nova finishes 9-7 it will make it all that more interesting. I'm not looking for interesting though, so let's go out and beat Nova on Sunday. I still think we'll finish 10-6 as I think we win both remaining home games. Let's just hope I'm right about this one.

UCONN looked great last night. Their guard play has improved tremendously and Villunaveua has become a beast. No way we go up there and beat them unless we play about 100x better than we have the last few times out. We must beat Nova. No late season collapses.

Absolutely -- Plus, I'll be at the Nova game, and I want to keep my record this year over the .500 mark!
