Enjoyable, but it also means they will be very focused Thursday coming off a loss. We need to meet and exceed the intensity.

Sweetness, i don't think it makes any difference on how focused they were going to be for us. Syracuse-Georgetown is a huge game and they would have been focused regardless of what happened today. If anything i think they might have some slight seed of doubt creeping into their minds.

I agree that they would have been focused anyway, but I do think coming off a loss adds something.
Maybe it will hurt their confidence; it also demonstrates that the zone is attackable.

Truth is the Cuse have been looking not as good the last two or so weeks (post Gtown game). Lets hope it stays that way.

Considering that Syracuse has just played the majority of their tough BE games AT HOME I predict the Hoyas win by 10 or more points on Thursday. Poop Jardine and Triche stink and the Hoyas will exploit the 2-3 zone now that Uconn and Louisville have shown the blueprint on how to solve it. Monroe with screen and rolls to the FT line and Wright with aggressive drive and kicks will have the Orange scrambling. Syracuse is a tough team but this is not a JUGGERNAUT with DC, Sherman Douglas, Stevie Thompson and Billy Owens. Say what you will about the cretins inside of it but the CARRIER DOME is a helluva of a home court advantage.

just because a loss may make 'Cuse more focused doesn't mean we should drop one today too.

It's obviously part of a supreme plan which requires a rotten loss before a great win.
This doesn't work in tournements.
