James Anderson is putting on a show versus Texas over the last nine minutes -- 15 points.

I have to question the added value of Rick Barnes. The team is decent but probably has more talent than anyone in the country.

Is it just me or is Yukon regressing? Clearly the Hoyas ruined them. ;D

Is it just me or is Yukon regressing? Clearly the Hoyas ruined them. ;D I've said this to others for a few weeks now and it's really getting creepy. Washington's season collapsed after losing to GU. Butler's only now recovered. UConn went into a tailspin. Pitt lost to South Florida. I'd expect Duke to have issues in its next few games. My guess is that Georgetown pyschologically destroys teams when they win. It's like some Mortal Kombat-esque finishing move.

In watching a lot of those Big tuesday games, i think the Big 12 is a bit underrated. I'd much prefer to run into a middling ACC #7 seed than a Ok St, Baylor, A&M.

UCONN's tailspin roughly corresponds with Calhoun's absence. Also, after GU beat UCONN, UCONN beat Texas.

Calhoun was absent for the Texas game as well. Theory = fail.

Perhaps teams only collapse within their own conference after a Hoya beatdown?

The UConn-Gtown parallel is strong.
Both initially had low(er) expectations because of players graduating/leaving.
Both had the hype grow as the team wasn't bad at all. Georgetown had the better win (at UConn), but still.
Both started to fall apart but still had good games to point to. Texas v Cuse and at Villanova. We beat 2 Final Four Teams last year and the Nova game happened in the third to last BE game.

Calhoun was absent for the Texas game as well. Theory = fail. Altered theory: UCONN's demise closely followed the departure of Calhoun.

Except our coach didn't come down with the Coack K Flu Haven't you heard? BUM has it on good authority that Coach K really was very sick that season and had to be forcibly removed from the court by his doctors. BUM would never misrepresent the truth.

Why doesn't JohnnyJungle come by anymore to tell us how great the Johnnies are and how unimpressed he is with the Hoyas?

Why the St. John's administration has stuck with Norm Roberts this long is beyond me -- how much more evidence do they need that he is not a good coach.

MSU getting crushed, not surprisingly.
On St. Johns, guess who we might see in the tourney if everything falls right? Oh yes, where's RDF, Jah-vis! He's turned around FAU in essentially 18 months and they could win the Sun Belt.
Can't wait for the rant.

Why do they even play the Big Ten schedule? Just give the top 4-5 teams every year an undefeated home schedule and a loss against any team not in the bottom 3-4 in the league. Its the least suspenseful, most boring conference in college. MSU will now lose at Wisconsin, at Purdue, and maybe even at Illinois (they dodge the OSU road game, which means they'll win the conference) and then some off-the-bubble team will "surprise" everybody by making a run to the conference tournament because--gasp--nobody gets to play with a home court advantage.
"Undefeated" MSU lost to every non-terrible non-conference team it played this season. Wisconsin has great wins over Duke, Marquette, Purdue, and Ohio State--guess where those wins happened? Meanwhile, on the road, Badgers: L at UWGB, L at Purdue, L at OSU, L at MSU.
Pathetic.
