I have wanted to post this for months... I just want to thank the team at Hoya Prospectus for their extraordinary work and unmatched analysis. Their posts are always amazingly timely and extremely detail-oriented.
I know they do not get many comments on their posts. I do not want them to think that we are not listening or simply don't care. I think it's more because we are left speechless after their incredibly rigorous analysis and their often "against the grain", statistically-significant conclusions.
I know lots of us who access the site 2 or 3 times day hoping there is a new entry. I find it the best source for team performance and analysis. Keep up the great work.

I second this post. HP is the most informative site for hoya analysis hands down.

You don't know me, but I'm one of those. If there are no new entries, I'll look at some stat I haven't checked in a while. Though I occasionally viewed KenPom in the past (and still do), thanx to HP for truly peaking my interest in tempo free, hi def stats. Great site.

I also enjoy the stuff on HP. If you're looking for another project, I'd be curious to know what Greg's (or the whole team's) FT% is on the front end of one-and-ones, compared to FTs as a whole.

If you're looking for another project, I'd be curious to know what Greg's (or the whole team's) FT% is on the front end of one-and-ones, compared to FTs as a whole. I'd love to tell you, but I can't. I can track all the missed front ends of 1-and-1's, but can't distinguish between times when someone made the front end versus a regular two shot foul. I.e., the play-by-play doesn't indicate if the foul was on a shot or on the floor. Sorry.

I've always been an early adopter of quality innovation. ;D Seriously, how great a world is this that someone else will run all the numbers to provide an empirically based framework for viewing our Hoyas? By God I love the internet.

Quick question for the HP guys... Why isn't FTM part of the 4 factor model? FTM would incorporate the ability to get to the line AND actually make the shots. I guess it could also be incorporated by switching eFG% with TS%. I'm sure this has been thought about and included in the regressions that put the equation together - I just never heard anyone explain why FTM isn't in there. Thanks
