I walked in with about 16 minutes to go, and the Hoyas were on the comeback!! So not to bring the Hoyas any bad vibes, I turned away from the game. Whenever I turned back for a sneak peak, the Huskies would make a play.
So in a truly selfless act to assure a Hoya victory, I refused to watch the rest of the game until I was sure it was over.
Sure enough, when I turned back, the Hoyas had won!!!
This superstition has only worked a few times. But it managed to put us into the Sweet 16 in '87 with a victory over Ohio State, gave us a victory over Carolina in 2007 to put us into the Final Four, and now a comeback victory over UCONN!
Just wanted to let you know that I'm doing my part in this journey!!!

This may be the first time anyone from NC A&T has made a positive contribution to society. LOL

Appreciate it, Aggy - now could you possibly leave the country until April 10 or so?!

Another set of thanks goes to seaweed for his visit to PR. Now you know you have to come back for every game, right?

Also thanks to The Stig who went to the Hoya blue table and bought the new shirt at half time and switched over.

This may be the first time anyone from NC A&T has made a positive contribution to society. LOL LMAO!!! Hordac, you 'gets' the middle finger!! Don't think I can leave the country, Frazier, for several reasons. Mostly budgetary, and not being sure I can find a country that has a Five Guys and/or WhataBurger. But I'll continue the quirky superstitions. The rest of you, you're welcome!!!

I think some credit should go to Coast2CoastHoya's magic hot dog. But I'll leave him to tell that story.

AggyPryd- Just busting your chops Bro. I'm a Rattler & had to take the opportunity to get a shot at you.

Sorry AggyPryd, but it was not you that won the game. I brought my dogs inside for the second half and made it clear to everyone in the room that the dogs were going to change the hoya's luck. I'm sure you helped, but the hoyas could not have won without my dogs.

No problem, Hordac. I understand that as a Rattler fan, life is really frustrating and you have to take it out on someone. :-)
Oh, silly 71hoya...I'm sure your dogs were good company for the 2nd half, but I've been mastering my craft long before those little pooches were a gleam in their daddy's eye. This was definitely a victory brought to you EXCLUSIVELY by me and superstition #3!

I'm going to add my hat to the "take credit for that win" ring.
Before yesterday, my "More like AWESOME Freeman" sign made one appearance at the Verizon Center. It was two years ago. We were playing UCONN.
Let me be explicit: that sign is full of ridiculous, heartbreaking, 72-69, Calhoun-enraging, UCONN-smiting magic. This time it simply had more of its intended effect.

Aggy, I just hope the result doesn't change when you watch the replay!
