Even when he tries to say something nice, he makes it sound petty and nasty. Greg can't go left. Austin is a load. Stanley Robinson hit two threes and it made him suck.
I swear, this guy is the second coming of Billy Packer. I realize Billy isn't dead yet, but he must have imparted some of his salt and vinegar upon Doug Gottlieb at some point.

I have to disagree. It was a good column. She nailed the depth issue on the head. The talk about the Hoyas' collapse last season gets tiring but this is her first writeup of the Hoyas this season so its almost to be expected she would go down that road. Especially considering the opponent was UConn. I'm just happy the Hoyas got another column from the Post.

Hamilton's favorite team of probably any sports is the Men's Kansas basketball team. You may not agree with her view but she does know something about basketball.

John Feinstein's column: www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/01/09/AR2010010902170.htmlOf course its really about his buddy Jim Calhoun (its amazing he can be friends with both Calhoun and Gary Williams considering the heated words between those two), not the game. I find it interesting how Feinstein can attack the corruption that exists in college sports and yet still have such high respect for Calhoun and Calipari. I don't hate Calhoun but the guy is shady. Anyway its worth getting the Post today because of the sports section. Freeman's picture is the main one on the first page, and there is an article and two columns regarding the game (one indirectly) spread throughout the sports pages. Plus some other tidbits thrown in as well as the first release of projected brackets (Hoyas are currently a #3 seed out West).
