Contain one of Dyson or Robinson and we win.

UConn can throw a lot og big bodies at you. Greg and Julian will have to be judicious with their fouls. Hope the Hoyas zone defense has gotten better because it is tough keeping Dyson out of the lane with the man-to-man defense.

Yeah fouls could be a problem, expect some physical, old-school Big East banging. Bench needs to contribute if we are going to take this one. Have a good feeling at home.

Also have to limit turnovers to prevent run-outs.

Good point, we also need to hit the offensive boards to slow down their break. It will be a battle, and they will want some revenge after last season up there, but I have a good feelng about this one. Hoya Saxa!

Just win this game. I don't care how, I don't care by how much, just WIN. Often, the simplest statement is the best. Saturday's game will tell us a LOT about this year's Hoyas. Even more importantly, it will tell the team a lot about themselves. Do they have the mental toughness to come out AT HOME against a top 15, conference foe and make sure they WIN this game? I have no doubts our guys have the ability to win this game. We have to bring our "A" game, and our "A" attitude. Can we? We shall see. I envy all you folks who will be in the Verizon Center on Saturday! Go Hoyas! Take it to UCONN! Just Win the damn game!

I'm not overly worried about losing the Marquette game ... unless we lose the Connecticut game. It's at home. They aren't as good this year. TCB.

frazier if we look to hit the offensive boards against this team its game over. we must play at our tempo run when its there. but remember this team can and will get it down the floor and attack quicker than anyone we will play this year. Too many time last night i saw free and clark together trailing after missed drives to the hoop. do that against Uconn and they will burn you. If we dont balance the floor on our offensive penetration it could be a long afternoon I just dont like our matchup with this team. they have size and are very quick with dyson and walker.Key is amking them play a half court game and look to minimize Dyson and Robinson who by the way is hitting threes at around 50%

Amen, we now need this one. Hope Julian and Chris are 100% or very close to it. And that the boys are ticked off.

Even more importantly, it will tell the team a lot about themselves. Agree wholeheartedly. A win this game legitimizes the Hoyas as being back from the depths of last year. In this league road losses are to be expected even once and a while to an inspired lower eschelon team. But legit contenders for the BET hold serve at home. I don't care how(Monroe scores 2 points but Hollis goes for 30) just win. Do they have the mental toughness to come out AT HOME against a top 15, conference foe and make sure they WIN this game? goodpoints sir saxa from whative seen of uconn and dyson in the summer league... IF dyson is hustling and on adn IF stanley robinson comes to play TOUGH GAME that gavin edwards can board and block and play.. kemba walker can be erratic.. they cant shoot threes consistantly so thats goodUNLESS dyson has a light it up game which he has in the past vs. us.. sooo MUST PLAY TOUGH HARD AND SMART FROM THE BEGINNING NO TURNOEVERS GOOD D.. TOUGH BOUNDS NO DUMB FOULS AND AGAIN DONT START OUT WITH LIKE FIVE TOS IN THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES.. BEAT UCONN this is my conn relatives team so IMPORTANT plus if we lose to uconn at home and are two and two going into seton hall here and nova at nova OUCH START to the big east..uconn aint that good but this will show the guys what they are really made of GREG BE TOUGH ADN QUICK AND SMART AND TOUGH KEEP THE BALL HIGH GO STRONG TO THE HOOP TO SCORE AND TO REBOUND AND TO BLOCK.. GO HOYAS ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

No need to worry.
My wife was kind enough to allow me to make the trip to DC for my only Georgetown game of the year. I will be moving to Europe for 6 months so this will be my only game this year.
I will be packing in a whole season and an entire BET into one Saturday afternoon.
Let's go Hoyas!!!!!!!

Congrats on your big success at work too!
