Anyone see Monroe get absolutely clobbered going for the board on Austin's miss at the end of the game? Hayward flat out shoved him.
Marq deserved to win but that was a baaaaad call

Yeah, it was. Not a lot of complaints about the refs overall, but they definitely missed that one. Both guys hammered him, not just Hayward.

There was no call to be bad. I would have liked to see Greg be more assertive and do the pushing himself

Couldn't you just not reply if you don't like it? I don't get it...

Greg was pretty soft tonight - needs to play much tougher.

It did not look like the ref saw it - they tend to watch the ball/shooter on end of game possessions.

Couldn't you just not reply if you don't like it? I don't get it... cause im not one to whine about calls not being made at the end of a game, and i hope neither are the majority of people on this board. i mean i wished we woudlve won and i thought we shouldve but there shouldnt be any excuses made about the outcome...

One missed call is no reason to whine about anything. Calls get missed. I thought the worse missed call with regard to Greg was the layup that should have been an and one against the swizzle stick 7' 2" dude (Mbao is it?). Anyway, the Hoyas played solidly. Some stuff to work on as always but a solid game. Quette will never again shoot that well. They stole one on their home floor. Next?

Quette will never again shoot that well. They stole one on their home floor. they may if they play us again. Defending perimeter shots is still an issue for us. I personally think its because our lineup is short guard heavy, so hard to get a hand in a shooters face after collapsing or helping on d.

Looked more like Monroe was pulled from behind by the guard than shoved by Hayward. Hardly the difference in the game result anyway.

Marquette will shoot that well from three again, and I want them too because the more they win, the less worse this loss looks. Hopefully, no other team we play will shoot that well again, because thats all that reall matters.

This is a non issue. Looking at the replay. Monroe had contact and fell. Refs aren't going to call that at the end of the game. I hate when opposing fans bitch about non calls, especially when it's a close, hard fought BE game. Let's not do the same here. I'm encouraged by this Hoya team and the effort. Freeman had an outstanding game tonight and is one of my favorite unsung Hoyas of all time. Let's concentrate on UCONN and take care of business on Saturday.

Obvious flop. No way that contact knocks him down. Good acting though
