I know Canellis did DePaul, and I think he also did St. John's. Or was it the color guy who was the same? I think Wenzel did the color on the St. John's game. Mike Kelley (former Wisconsin guard, member of the 2000 Final Four team, and Big Dog youth basketball camp nemesis) did the analysis for DePaul. I'd never seen him broadcast a game outside the state of Wisconsin before, so I was surprised he was there.

Actually, I'm just about 100% certain it was Raftery and Canellis for St. John's.
I like Canellis, he made some comments showing he knows our team pretty well. He talked about how our lack of defense last year led to our implosion, and that while many see us as a half-court team, we have recently shown that we can score some transition points when they're there.

I actually like Fraschilla a lot. He comes across as pretty knowledgeable.

This is easy. TV on mute, Rich on the internet. No one will miss Dickie V extolling the ACC in general and the Doofies in particular. I forsee a large synching problem with this setup (especially with an HDTV). Have you actually tried that for a game? I do it all the time. Radio is behind the TV. Wait for a made basket. Pause it as the bucket drops, then unpause when Rich says "shoots."

Canellis, along with whoever his sidekick was, was awful for the DePaul game, in my opinion.

Canellis, along with whoever his sidekick was, was awful for the DePaul game, in my opinion. Isn't that that Green guy? I think he's good. I noticed him during his work for the Pitt-Syracuse game and he was very complimentary about the Hoyas. I didn't think he was bad at all in his calling of the DePaul game. Anyway...Vitale bites. That is all. Okay its not all. If Greg takes less than 30 shots in the game I want Vitale to relax and not worry about it so much.

Oh, okay Kelley. Don't know I thought his name was Green. Anyway I think Kelley is solid.

Agree with easyed: Canellis shrieks too much. Kelley was inoffensive.

Canellis has been terrible on various local TV outlets in Chicago for years.

They weren't awful. On the contrary, they were very knowlegable.
They were the only broadcast crew to finally realize that this team runs with a purpose. The only crew to realize what we do, how and why we do it, instead of saying outdated things like "Greg needs to shoot the ball more," and "They're running? That's out of character."
They scored big points with me. They actually did their homework.

Just to get some teeth gnashing - now that his college career(s) are finally over, how long before Paulus weasels his way into a studio or into the booth?
