Be interesting to see what happens with that seat in 2010, Republicans have not won in election in that district since the 1860's.

And the Club for Growth is already planning to pick him off anyways, nice, that lasted maybe 5 minutes.
Also, I should have said that it'd be interesting to see what happens with that seat in 2012, not 2010.

And the Club for Growth is already planning to pick him off anyways, nice, that lasted maybe 5 minutes. Also, I should have said that it'd be interesting to see what happens with that seat in 2012, not 2010. Why 2012? McCain got 61% of the vote in that district last year.

And yet Griffith won the seat as a Democrat in a district that hasn't gone Republican since the 1860's. 2010 - base year election, I'd bet that Griffith defends the seat in 2010 (if he makes it out of the primary) but 2012 would be a much, much tougher race.
