we are bigtime dogs tonight - this ND squad has performed quite well at home especially in the past couple of weeks - let's go out there and silence those fools and remind south bend wannabes what rocks!!

The JACC is a tough place to play, if tonight is anything like it was for the BC game we'll have to play our absolute best to get out of there with a win.
Of course ND has gotten the art of choking away wins down to a science. ;D

does anyone know who is doing the ESPN Classic broadcast? It isn't Warner Wolf again, is it?

per GU game notes, Jim Simpson (same play-by-play guy as last time) and Digger Phelps.
For those who are coming to the Chicago game watch, I'll make sure the bar doesn't give us sound.

Really? I think Digger's a great analyst. Although he really is so pro-ND, I think he's one of the smarter guys that does college Bball for Bristol U.

I like Digger, but I can't believe they're letting him do this game. I wish more people knew this was going to be on national TV. The chances that it will be another instant classic are great.

If I have to listen to someone else talk about how it was back when they played, i'm gonna vomit. More play by play, less BS please.

yeah despite digger's pro-ND bias, at least he has some knowledge as to the present-day game and the Big East dynamic this year...i mean ANYTHING is better than Warner Wolf asking Fred Brown if boxing-out is a teachable skill...

In my day they were called free throws b/c you were SUPPOSED to make them. We didn't slap a guys hand if he made, and especially not if he missed them!!!

The FT slap has become to basketball what stepping out of the batter's box is to baseball. Totally meaningless, omnipresent, and a complete waste of time.

hey when i played baseball(not that long ago) i stepped out of the box numerous times to calm down for a second. Really helps if you've got an 0-2 count and your hands are sweating/shaking. But i guess in the pros it might be a little different
