For those of you that follow KenPom.com rankings, they just released the first look at individual player stats after this weekend. www.kenpom.com/team.php?team=GeorgetownAmong the things that jump out at me are Julian's strong numbers in Offensive and Defensive Rebounding percentages and block percentage as well as Jason Clark's overall offensive rating. They seem to confirm what many of us see on the court, these two have made great improvements.

Also jumping out is that Greg is our worst offensive player. That's actually a good thing imo, because if he can get back to where he was last year, with the increased possessions, we'll be even BETTER.

The stats are still a little wonky with Vee listed as a contributing player and Hollis as limited. This is because Vee "uses" more possessions when he is on the floor (b/c he is PG duh) but Hollis plays more.

This is because Vee "uses" more possessions when he is on the floor (b/c he is PG duh) but Hollis plays more. That's just how he defines them -- and it will happen consistently. If you think of it as "when he's on the floor" it makes more sense. Personally, I'd adjust the formula, but I'm not him.

I love me some tempo-free. I just point out the KenPom stats because it has the national rankings for certain statistics. Let's you see what sticks out now that everyone else has the same stats done that CO gives us for the Hoyas.

FYI, I do follow the updates on HP. You guys are great. Like the breakdown on Greg's eFG woes and the correlation between increased usage and decreased efficiency. Jason, Chris and Austin's TS really stand out to me, and how they hold up into February will be something I look at.

Totally -- I do love Ken Pom for that, and not only that, but all the other players, especially BE players. It's just I used to frustratedly wait for Ken to decide it was time to update until CO put his up earlier. Wanted to make sure everyone knew.

It's not in the Top 100, but it is a huge number for Georgetown. That said, as our opponents get bigger and better, I expect it will decrease (as will most of the super high usage guys).
